The first signs of spring time are finally here.. step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the beauty! This time of the year always excites me because as the nature begins to bloom, it makes me feel as though the year is just beginning and I grow eager to see the new fashion trends and how they continue to be transformed. I personally appreciate consistency but I cannot lie, occasionally there’s something new that catches my eye. If you are like me and always try to consider all the factors in the fashion piece you’re thinking of buying such as the quality of the material, how a piece might compliment your body without being too obvious, if it’s tasteful in presentation, or if the color will wash you out, and how long it will last you then you might appreciate my taste in clothing. Here are some of my spring fashion favorites that I feel lucky to have found and I know you will appreciate. Enjoy!

1: Maxi Spring Dress
This ‘After Dusk Maxi Dress’ made of cotton and polyester emulates what it is that Spring is here to bring us -a fantastic blossoming of subtle color. It’s long length and skin friendly material gives you an elegant silhouette and it also ties elegantly in the back, making for very giving adjustments.
2: Spring Knit Sweater
The puffed sleeves and overall comfort feel of this dainty ‘Mohair Mesh Spring Sweater’ is perfect for day time wear when the sun is out and you get to experience the fresh air against your skin. Its white with blue stripe makes for a more sweetheart look and is perfectly paired with a white cami (or simply an under bra depending on where you’ll be wearing it 😉 ).
3: Spring Collared Button Down
Made from 100% cotton, this high quality ‘Ronadi Top’ can be easily layered with just about any other top and still maintain its crisp look. I absolutely adore these types of button downs as they’re so versatile in the ways you can style them such as tucking them in, wearing them on top of or underneath clothes, and even being able to pair it with any bottoms (jeans, shorts, skirts). You could almost never go wrong with these button downs and I consider them to be a staple item whether they’re in stripe, plain white, full beige, or light blue.

Pastel yellow fabrics tend to bring out a very kind and gentle feeling (in my opinion). ‘La Esperanza Printed Cotton Wide-Leg Pants’ designed by Johanna Ortiz (made of organic cotton)manages to intertwine this blue color and print in such a tasteful and fresh way, to wear it is to transport yourself into a tropical delight. I’d bring this piece with me on a fun and adventurous trip!
15: Spring Pleated Dress
I don’t believe there’s anything more feminine or elegant as this ‘Solaire Pleated Midi Dress‘ in dusty amethyst. Its pleated 100% polyester fabric is so well made and the cinched waist with its deep v-neck makes it like a one of a kind piece in that, it’s a difficult find. It may be 15th on this list but it’s one of my favourite!
